"This Jesus, delivered up according to the definite plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and killed by the hands of lawless me." ~Acts 2:23
From the beginning of time, God planned to have His Son killed for our sins. This is part of a speech given by Peter after the ascension of Christ to the Jews and I am floored at this statement. Jesus was killed by lawless men, sinners. Yet it was God's plan for this to happen. Nothing is beyond God! Jesus came to earth knowing He would die. He willingly came. From the time Jesus created the world, He knew He would enter into it to save it.
Is anyone else blown away by this?
