"Why do you seek the living One among the dead? He is not here, but He has risen."

After 3 days, Jesus rose from the dead and now He is alive! He conquered death for us so that we can live eternally. The day Jesus saves us, we are made alive with Him in His resurrection. Because He is alive we are changed and transformed into new people. All of our hope and confidence is in Jesus, the risen Savior. Jesus resurrection is my resurrection. I am now alive because of what Christ has done for me.
We can live for more than the things of this world because Jesus is alive. Jesus won so we have victory over death! We have a reason to live! We can have a different kind of life and live in a different kind of community because we are living for Jesus and not ourselves or the world. Because of the resurrection we can put off sin and live according to God's ways, through the power of the Holy spirit living in us. This is all because Jesus lives!
